Study in Canada Rules and Regulations



If you want to study in Canada you must know some requirements you have to fulfill to study there. Lets start 

1. Minimum percentage
As the canada college accept between 50-60 percent overall, still we suggest you to maintain your overall and each subject percentage to atleast 60 percent to strong your file.

2. Subjects you should choose in your senior secondary 
If you are recently moved in class 12th and yiu want to go canada after 12th then choose your subjects very wisely like don't go for regional languages if you have arts choose english and some other technical subjects. Choosing subjects like physical education and home science will weak your case choole pol science economics and some these kind of sunjects. 

3. Minimum IELTS requirement
If you are 12th pass out yiu have to score 6.0 bands overall with no band less than 5.5 and if you want to go fir degree courses or post graduate courses, you have to score 6.5 bands no less than 6.0 bands. Universities generally give admissions on 6.5 and colleges (spp) give admission to 6.0 
Dont file your case on 5.5 or 5.0 band overall it will only reject your case. And different courses has different band requirements check t

4. Gap acceptable
Maxmimum of 2 year of study gap is acceptable after that yiu have to show some genuine experience to cover it.

5. Courses to choose
There is a vast range of courses available in canada like business, it, software, office admin, cookery, hm, tour and travel, nursing, medical admin, etc. always choose the course which is relevant to your previous study or experience

6. Funds to show
As far as you are applying in SPP institutions they donot require funds. Universities and non spp require 7-8 lakhs of fund does not matter if old or current. Always apply your file in SPP or in Universities. Non Spp has very less visa success ratio

7. Backlogs
Mostly institutes doesnot accept more than 6 backlogs still there are some who can accept you with more but having kore backlogs will definitely decrease your visa chances

8.  Work permit after study 
After successful completion of one year course you get one year if job search and after that from 2 year or 3 or 4 year of study you get 3 year of work permit. 

9. Cost of study 
For diploma and advance diploma the fees is around 3.5 to 4 lakhs ruppes for degree courses the fees is apprx 5-6 lakh per semester

11. GIC
if you are applying under SPP you have to deposit 10000 cad in canadian bank account of your name (nova scotia or icici) 
And for university if you show education loan you do not need to show GIC. 

12. How i get my gic back? 
On reaching canada on first visit to bank you get 2000 dollars back in your acc and remaining 8000 dollar will be refunded back to you in installments of one year 

13. Embassy fees
Right now embassy fees is 9000 rupees apprx but keep checking the cic website or contact nearest vfs office wor latest rates. 

14. Medical
You need to go under medical chek up befor lodging your file from a pannel physician of Canada in your nearest city. You can check the list on internet.

15. Forms to be completed 
Check the set of checklist of SPP or UNIVERSITY download and fill the forms very carefully

So overall canada is the most popular place to study because of its less expense and high visa rate but still be very careful when applying your file.
